About the Camp

Enjoy your summer at the d.a.i. Kids’ Camp!

The d.a.i. hosts the Kids’ Camp for kids ages 6 to 10 during the first week of summer break. This camp provides a week full of variety and action as well as the opportunity to speak English with US-American Native speakers and other kids.

In the morning, the kids will learn English in a playful manner. In the afternoon they will have a lot of fun, thanks to our diverse program.

On sunny days, we will take them into nature, e.g. to the Botanical Garden or on a scavenger hunt. On rainy days, we will take trips to the museum (e.g. the toy museum) or visit other exciting places in the Tübingen region, e.g. to bake pretzels.

Together with their German speaking volunteers, our US-American native speaker will create a creative and fun learning atmosphere.

Sadly, our son will not have any English lessons in his first and second year of school. That is why we were even happier about this trial lesson at the d.a.i. (parent of participant in 2019)

A lunch package is included - however, we recommed giving them additional drinks (e.g. water bottle) and a bit of pocket money (ca. 5,- €)
