About the Camp

The American Summer Camp in Tübingen is a “Best of” of different activities from previous d.a.i.-camps as well as English lessons in preparation for every day's activities. Nevertheless, having fun takes center stage in this camp!

The camp combines 10 teaching units (à 45min) at the d.a.i. with numerous outdoor activities and trips, e.g. to the Freibad, Herrenberger Waldseilgarten or a treasure hunt through Tübingen’s pedestrian area. Additionally, there will be different crafting projects, games and other fun things to do.

Our teachers are all US native speakers. Outside of class they will continue to speak English in an unconstrained and playful manner to engage the participants.

Service

• full-day supervision by experience US native speakers and German speaking assistants

• a combination of English classes and indoor or outdoor activities

• on rainy days: games and english classes at the d.a.i.

• entrance fees, teaching material and travel costs are all inclusive

The participants should bring enough beverages as well as a lunch package for the lunch break.
